Freezing Rain!

Hello all!

I was really thinking that the cold weather reports on our blog were getting old and was excited by the string of warm days we had this last week. We had several days in the low-mid 40's. This is the warmest it's been since December and a LOT of the snow melted away.

Anyway, I wasn't going to update our blog with another cold weather report, except that we had a "new" type of cold weather experience - freezing rain. This happens when it has been below freezing (like it was overnight) and then we get cold rain & sleet on top of the frozen ground.

On top of the 1/4 - 1/2 inch of ice covering EVERYTHING, we are now getting some heavy snow that is supposed to accumulate 8-14 inches through midday Sunday.

We hope you are all doing well and happy.

Marvin

Here are some pictures that I took this afternoon shortly after the rain changed to snow.
