Hello to all,
Everett lost his 1st tooth on July 30th. He had been wiggling it with his tongue for a few days and finally it just came out! He left it under his pillow and the Tooth Fairy came and left a "gold dollar" (Susan B. Anthony dollar coin) under his pillow in place of his TINY tooth.
Here is a picture of the newly formed "tooth hole".
ALSO, in all the excitement of our last blog update, I forgot to mention the "newest member of our family." I put that in quotations, because that is exactly how she was introduced to me when I got home from work one Friday evening. As in, "Come in and meet the newest member of our family."
We have a new kitten named Mittens.
She's very friendly and cute, but Tiger is having difficulty adjusting. Mittens is a kitten after all, and Tiger is a 9.5 year old (50+ to you and me). The kitten wants to play with Tiger's tail and jump on her and jump on her back and ride her, but Tiger just hisses and bats at Mittens. The good news is that Tiger is adjusting and doing better in her playing, but the bad news is that Mittens has sharp little teeth and claws that she still uses when she's playing with Tiger. We can tell when the cats are playing because Tiger is meowing and hissing. I can almost hear what Tiger is saying, "QUIT BITING ME WITH THOSE SHARP LITTLE TEETH!!"
Anyway, we have a new kitten.
