
I’ve been honored with (or maybe more accurately, been roped in to) a request to make a wedding cake for an upcoming wedding. I admit to making a mean brisket, but not so sure the cake will be a delight. Can I use lard in the frosting and flavor with beef stock?
Manly Man and kids are excited to eat cake over the next few weeks as I do a few dry runs. I sure wish my friend Donna lived closer. She even knows how to do crystallized flowers on top of the cakes!
