We went to a antique car museum the other day, and remarkably enough the wood paneled station wagon has made it into the museum. Did anyone else have one like this? I remember going to drive-in movies and leaning back against the front glass. A whole bunch of us could sit there with pillows and blankets while Mom and friend sat in the folding chairs. What were they thinking? The cool spot was ON the car! I also loved to have the very back seat to myself. Since this car was before seat belt laws, we crawled all over and changed seats multiple times while driving anywhere! I think we had a blue-ish green version of this car, and a solid mustard colored one at some point. We were that family with many kids and an old station wagon. Very happy times!
