Every night this week we've had storm watches or warnings: severe thunderstorm, tornado, flooding or flash flooding; sometimes all four. Which or course means I'm sleeping lightly so that I'll hear the tornado siren, or that I'm getting up for weather updates until the watch/warning expires. And it also means the at least two, and sometimes three, of the kids are going to join me during the night as they are awakened by the storm. I'm grateful to be safe, but can't wait for the storm season to pass us by!
