This image is the park near Marvin's office indicating two feet over flood level. My ahem, photographer, took longer than intended to upload the shots and convert to jpg. So if you were to drive by the park now, it would be very mushy and muddy, but no standing water. Other parts of the state are not so lucky and clean-up efforts have begun. 30 church members from Ames went up to the Cedar Rapids area today to be part of the helping hands crew. Anyone else interested in helping just needs to be 16 or older and have a current tetanus shot!
