Thanks to Erika who introduced me to Bakerella some time ago. I generally browse through her site and occasionally make the featured treats. We've had fun making the cake pops in the past, and last night I made these delicious cookies.

Before you get all "wowed" by my photography, please look at previous pictures taken by me. Do you realize that this picture is not blurry, does not include any fingertips or red eyes and the out of focus items in the background are intentional? I know, serious camera skillz!! Must not have been taken by me. Nope, I borrowed directly from the source and give credit where it is due. Is that legal?
Anyway, now for the question of the day - do you frost a pumpkin spice chocolate chunk cookie? I have to say the frosting is delicious, but it seems odd to frost chocolate chunk cookies, even if they are soft and pumpkiny. And really, it’s sugar overload! So if you get around to making these, let me know if you like the frosting or not.

My birthday is on Thursday, and we are making the cake pops that night. I am so excited! (I tried them at a friend's house and had to get the recipe. She directed me to Bakerella.)
