I received a new blouse from my mother-in-law (thank you!), and was trying it on. Wondering if it would be too much to wear to church, I walked into the office and asked Marvin if he thought it was too much for Sunday before Christmas.
Marvin: "Looks fine"
Me (not satisfied with the vague reply): "So you think it's too much?"
Marvin: "Honey, you're wearing it with jeans. When you're wearing it with a skirt, nylons and heels, I'm sure it will look fine".
Me: Laughter. "Can't really visualize it can you?"
Marvin: "There are some colors I can't actually see, and you're still trying to get me to visualize? "
Marvin: "Looks fine"
